Happy Thanksgiving week, everyone! I hope your week is filled with family and fun, and that you are (like me) so filled to overflowing with gratitude for all that is your life, you can’t help but choke up when you start to count your blessings. Even when I’m lower than low, if I pause to start naming all that I am thankful for, I’m leveled by all that I have been given… And then that gratitude turns into a compulsion, a deep desire to pour myself out… It’s a pretty humbling cycle if you stop to consider it.
Anyway, I wanted to take a minute this week to tell you all that I am thankful for YOU. For all of you who read my blog (and my books), who take the time to comment and send me emails, and for each and every one of you who lurk and never respond. Thanks for being a part of this conversation, for helping me through many of my own struggles and contemplations, and for sometimes even laughing at my stupid jokes. And, boy, do I tell stupid jokes. Sorry ’bout that.
I pray for my readers (that’s you!) and I continually try to share my heartaches and joys (and everything in between) in the words that I write both here and in my books. Thank you so much for allowing me to share this amazing journey with you. I am so very, very blessed.
I’m going to leave you today with a video that shares just a bit more about who I am and why I do what I do. I think I’ve told you before that I have the most spectacularly talented friends, and one of those good friends, Todd Montsma, is working with me to create a few videos about my writing and my upcoming books. I think you’ll agree that he’s crazy gifted…
Enjoy the video! Happy Thanksgiving!
