Giveaway #3 Winner!
Well, this is the last of my Christmas giveaways, and I’m afraid the package will not get to my winner by the 25th. I hope that’s okay… Sarah! You’re my winner this week. You didn’t include your last name, but you wrote comments 13 and 14 (13 was the number picked by the random number generator, BTW. Who says 13 isn’t lucky?). Anyway, please email me (click on one of the links above) with your snail mail address and your book pick. You’ll be getting One Million Arrows, but you also get to choose one of mine. Click on the Books tab if you want to know more about what I’ve written.
Whew. I can’t believe that’s the last of the giveaways for a while. Unless, of course, you have a blog and would like to do a review/feature of Beneath the Night Tree. Read this post for more info, and if it sounds good to you email me with your snail mail addy.
As for the rest of you, I’ve got Christmas on the brain. Gift-giving is not my love language, but there is something so special about blessing someone you love with a thoughtful gift that you just know they’ll adore. My question for you today is: What is the best gift you’ve ever given? Something you could hardly keep a secret because you were so excited to give it away?
The first thing that pops into my head is the present I gave my mom and dad to announce that we were pregnant with our first baby. It was a pair of baby-size jean overalls and a onesie that said: My Grandpa’s Favorite Color is Green. (As in, John Deere green.) I’ll never forget the looks on their faces! 🙂
