Giveaway #2 Winner!

The winner of my library package is… Julie! I had a couple of Julies sign up for the giveaway, so the winner is the Julie who wrote comment #20 (sandwiched in between Brandi and Britanie). Please email me (just click the little envelope above or click the Contact tab) with your snail mail address and I’ll stick your package in the mail. You’ll have it before Christmas! Hopefully you’ll get snowed in. ;)

Bummed you didn’t win? Well, I’m giving away one more Christmas package… This one is all about awareness. After all, we are smack dab in the middle of the season of giving. Anyway, this final package will include a pair of t-shirts from our non-profit,¬†One Body One Hope, some of our homemade goat milk soaps, a copy of the book¬†One Million Arrows: Raising Your Children to Change the World by Julie Ferwerda, and your choice of one of my books. And, of course, chocolates and bubble bath (‘cuz they make the world go round).

Leave a comment! Bonus points for re-Tweeting or re-posting! Just let me know what you’ve done…

By the way, I LOVE the pictures you use for your blog. I know you probably don’t spend more than a few minutes looking, but they are always so fitting to your posts that it seems as if it would have taken hours to find the right one.
I’ve been thinking this for years but never told you :)

Thanks, Rachel. I’m no visual artist, but I am extremely visual. The right picture is so important to me! And I should give credit where credit is due–I use three free stock photo sites or pictures from my family and friends (or my own collection).

I just linked to your blog for the first time from a link on a freinds’ facebook page. As a co-Dordt grad (you did attend Dordt, right?), I’ve always meant to pick up one of your books. Now, I’m actually going to do it! (Even if I don’t win…:) Best wishes for the release of your next book.
